I couldn't be more happy to be back with brilliant Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra!

The program starts with Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet overture - a dramatic and touching symphonic poem about the greatest love story of all time. The concert ends with another love story - Tony's and Maria's - when we dance our way through Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. 

Between these piece's we will hear a piece of Finnish music history: The Enchanted Belt by Heidi Sundblad-Halme - a suite of the ballet. This piece resurfaced through a highly important project called HUOM, which revives orchestral music by women which history forgot.
