Ulster Orchestra

Lakes and rivers, legends and folklore - Smetana's "Ma Vlast" is a piece of music deep in the roots of the Czech people. The famous "Vltava" is part of this huge symphonic composition, but the other movements we don't hear that often in concert. Together with Ulster Orchestra we present four out of the six movements in total.

The first half is Spanish inspired with an intriguing guitar concerto by Francisco Coll, performed by the wondrous Sean Shibe! Before that we hear Manuel de Falla's marvellous and fun "Three Cornered Hat" suite.
